Natural Cleaning Products

There are plenty of "natural" cleaning products available for purchase like, Branch Basics and Mrs. Meyer's, but here are some easy DIY natural cleaning products for all around your home!

I know as a mother that when I clean around the house, I can sometimes be a bit "over the top" when it comes to keeping harmful chemicals away from my son, and sometimes even my pets! If you are anything like me, knowing what is in your cleaning products will at least ease your mind when doing a simple chore!

All Purpose Cleaner

Ingredients needed:

• 1 cup of white vinegar

• 1 cup of water

• 3 drops of tea tree essential oil

• 3 drops of lemon essential oil

• 1 Spray bottle

Toilet Bowl Cleaner

Ingredients needed:

• 1/4 cup liquid castile soap

• 1/2 cup baking soda

• 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide

• 1 cup of warm water

• 1/4 cup vinegar

• 10 drops of tea tree or peppermint essential oil

Glass and Mirror Spray

Ingredients needed:

• 1 cup water

• 1 cup rubbing alcohol

• 8 drops of lemon essential oil

Wood Floors

Ingredients needed:

• 1 cup white vinegar

• 1 gallon of water

• 8 drops of peppermint essential oil for every 2 cups of mixture

Goo-Gone

• 1 cup of baking soda

• 1/4 cup of coconut oil

Dish Soap

• 1 cup of castile soap

• 8 drops of lavender oil

• 8 drops of tea tree oil

Laundry Detergent

This one takes a few steps so make sure you read the steps and have about 15/20 minutes for initial prep!

1. Boil water in a large pot leaving some room

2. Once the water is boiling turn the stove off and add 2 and 1/4 cups of baking soda and 2 and 1/4 cups of washing soda

3. Stir the mixture until completely dissolved

4. Use a 5-gallon bucket and add the mixture and 1 and 1/4 cup of castile soap

5. Fill the rest of the bucket up with water and your choice of essential oil mix

Clean Linen Scent:

25 drops of Lavender

15 drops of Eucalyptus

10 drops of Purification
